I was raised on a farm in the small town of Xenia, Illinois. Like most family farms – everybody pitched in and helped. During harvest and planting seasons, most days I would be with my father in the combine or tractor listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio. That’s where my passion for conservative governance began. For my first two years of college, I attended Randall University in Moore, Oklahoma. There I won a national championship in volleyball with the Association of Christian College Athletics. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Spanish and upon graduation, I started my career as a Spanish teacher at Newcastle High School. I wanted to invest in Oklahoma and its young people. I cherished my years educating students and coaching young ladies until I left teaching in 2018. That same year, I ran for McClain County Assessor because I felt it lacked someone who would listen to their taxpayers’ concerns, big or small. I am proud of the work I have done to integrate technology into the assessor’s office, making things streamlined for the taxpayer. I also believe knowledge is power and have pursued educating my constituents. My husband Ray and I will be married 8 years in July. Together we share 4- year-old twin boys, and a 1-year-old boy. We've been active members at Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. I am grateful to have been raised in a Christian family. I am now ready to FIGHT for those values and for our future generations to have the same opportunities as I did.
  • I am prepared to fight and be vocal on several conservative values and beliefs that are not being protected by our current elected Congressmen and women. I am not afraid to do the right thing. I have no price.
  • I am here to STOP THE SPENDING! This is the only solution at this point if we are to rescue the middle class and bring forth greater opportunities for our children than we had. We must make the small sacrifices now to ensure our future is not burdened down with taxes everywhere we turn.
  • I will be fighting for all of my GOP platform points: guns, protect unborn life at all costs, protect our voting rights and secure our elections because they are under threat.
1) STOP THE SPENDING! Taxes are killing everyone. The middle class is TAX TIRED. We have got to reign it in now or there is no going back.

2) Education is a big one. Being an educator early in my life, it was my passion. I left because of the condition our public schools were headed in. I don't want to see Public education to continue in the way it is, I want to see it make a comeback. Our parents demand more. We must ensure we are doing everything we can to give the best education, without the woke agendas, to our future generations.

3) Illegal immigration. I want to see it eradicated in the State of Oklahoma. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
I don't have too many role models outside of my own mom and dad. They have lived a true life, no blemishes on what right and wrong are. On what being a true follower of Jesus Christ is. On what a hard day's work should be and that the Government isn't supposed to be bailing us out or paying us to live. They have shown countless examples of helping out a neighbor for nothing in return and witnessing to those who don't know the Lord, because at the end of the day, they cared about where these people spent eternity and they understood that the love of Christ can save anyone and give them a better outlook on life.
Not really. "A More Perfect Union" by Dr. Ben Carson has been one I have read multiple times. It is just a very basic run through of our Constitution by someone who I believes is a Christian first and has a very balanced opinion of our world and what it is dealing with right now. This really just reverts back to the Bible and our Constitution. These must remain at the forefront always.
They must posses a fear of God, not man. They must be capable and educated. And they must be worthy and hate dishonest gain.
Dedication to the Lord with my life. It centers you to always be thinking about others, realizing my life is secure in Christ, makes it much easier to be concerned about those around you who need help. I am sold out to conservative governance and I can't be quiet
To be available at all times when the job demands it. They must be always in sync with their constituents and they must ensure what they are legislating and supporting goes hand in hand with our Constitution.
My constituents were the most active and involved district in the State. I hope to bring more gun freedom to our State. And I hope to help get Education into a stellar position, as we are almost dead last right now in rank.
I would say 9/11 was my biggest one I remember vividly. I was 9 years old when it happened. While I remember other events like the "hanging chads" for the Bush/Gore election, 9/11 was the first major one I recall with good memory.
My first career job was a high school Spanish teacher and coach. I taught for 4 years.
Definitely don't have one favorite. I love so many genres - murder mystery, chrisitian studies, non fictions and I am a sucker for a good cheesy romance/drama. But my most recent finish was "A More Perfect Union" by Dr. Ben Carson. I am reading a lot of political/history books these days.
My body image mostly. Most of my life it was a constant fight to control my eating habits, and be healthy in "skinny". Other than that, I have had minor pitfalls throughout different stages of my young life, peer pressure, etc. But overall, my life has been extremely blessed with the fact that I have had the Lord in my life and influenced to me through loved ones in my life. He never let me go.
A healthy one, where each branch can trust the other. Not one where we are fighting. The governor needs to be maintaining what is being passed is truly best for his State, and our Legislature must be ensuring that our Governor is working hard for the people of his or her State, and doing what is in their best interests at all times.
Money. Budgets. Taxes. It all plays in together. We just had the largest budget in Oklahoma State history. And people are being told to tighten their budgets. We cannot continue down the path we are on or it will not last, something will break.
Not if said legislator has a common sense and a love for his or her district and State as a whole. Career politicians are why our State and Nation are in the shape they are in. I think our forefathers proved that it does not take years of government experience to do a great job and build a nation that is for the People.
Yes. Relationships are a must, real ones, not ones just built on a tit-for-tat, pay to play understanding. We need our legislators seeking out those who want the best for our State and will do whatever it takes to make things happen, putting differences aside.
The Pauls, Rand and Ron are both fighters. I want to simply be a fighter for common sense and our Constitution.
Possibly. That will all be in the Lord's timing and what is best for my family and honestly, for my State. If my State needs me more, I will stick with them until I know my position will be replaced with someone who will just as hard.
Yes, I have had a few visits with small business owners who are just tax tired and being squeezed by their own state government. It breaks my heart to hear we are only putting road blocks in their way. I have also had several people from outside my district reach out to me and want to do all they can to help me because they believe in me and truly just want good people representing them at the Capitol.
Did you hear what happened at the laundromat? Two pins held up a shirt.
Yes, oversight must happen. Anymore, the use of emergency powers, can be abused and we must always be on guard.
Bring back hand counting of ballots. Anything to secure our elections. Currently it is illegal in the state of Oklahoma to hand count ballots.
Finance, Education, Agriculture
It must improve and we must make sure all our nation has access to what our Government officials are doing, saying, and dealing. There is nothing better we could do for our Country and its people than to leave everything out in the open. This is the people's house, the people's money, and they deserve to know everything that is happening.

Scorecards

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
