Kenia Flores is an at-large member of the Passaic school board in New Jersey. She won re-election in a general election on April 23, 2014. She was first elected to the board to finish an unexpired one-year term on April 16, 2013.
Biography
Kenia Flores is a resident of Passaic, New Jersey. Flores earned her B.S. degree in psychology and elementary education from St. Peter’s University in 2003 and her M.A. degree in school psychology from Fairfield University in 2006 while also serving as a student teacher at Mario J. Drago School #3. Since 2007, she has been employed by Elizabeth Public Schools as a school psychologist.[1]

Kenia Flores and fellow incumbents Richard Diaz and Horacio Carrera defeated challenger Rene L. Griggs to keep their at-large seats in the general election on April 23, 2014. The three incumbents created a joint candidates committee to run as a slate.
