Kenneth Burgos (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 85. He assumed office on January 1, 2021. He left office on July 19, 2024.

Burgos (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 85. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Kenneth Burgos was born in the Bronx, New York.[1][2] Burgos graduated from the Bronx High School of Science.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Albany.[2] Burgos' career experience includes working as a deputy chief of staff and budget director with the New York City Council.[3]

Kenny was born in The Bronx, New York on June 1, 1994 and is a brother to three sisters. Kenny was raised by a single mother and is a product of public schools, aspects which have shaped his viewpoints. A lifelong Bronxite and progressive, he understands the concerns of those residing in the district he intends to serve.
Kenny is a true believer of economic equality being the primary solution for many societal issues such as health disparities, poverty, education inequality and crime. Truly strengthening and empowering our middle class will bring prosperity to our state and set New York on a path to being a fair and equitable state.
