Approach to the law
From an article on CullmanTimes.com:
I am a conservative by nature. I do not believe in legislating from the bench. The Constitution must be strictly followed — I am what is commonly called a ‘strict Constitutionist.’ My own beliefs and philosophy must not be the guiding factor in the judicial decisionmaking process. The Constitution must be the guide in all such decisions.[3]
Education
Weldon received his undergraduate degree from St. Bernard College and his J.D. from the University of Alabama.[3]
