Campaign website
Hartpence's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
Lowering Taxes President Trump left us with one of the best economies in the United States. He passed the famous Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 which lowered our taxes to the lowest point in U.S. history. I will always fight for lower taxes for Americans.
For far too long has the Florida citrus industry been declining. Restoring the Florida orange and other fruits will be a top priority for me and I will make it a priority for the State Representatives and Senators that work with me. Together we will restore the Florida’s rich history of agriculture.
Gas and diesel prices are out of control. Under President Trump, we had the lowest gas and diesel prices in over 15 years. We have an abundance of energy that we are not using. We need to return to utilizing all of our energy. Oil, gas, wind, solar, nuclear, coal, and ethanol I am pro- all energy because all energy creates all jobs.
I'm as pro second amendment as it gets. The founding fathers gave us the right to defend ourselves and it is enumerated in the United States Constitution. I will always support the second amendment and fight for your right to own a gun if you so choose.
Big Tech censorship is out of control. They are not fact-checkers, they are intent checkers and they violate our freedom of speech rights daily. In this past year, we have had our churches closed, our schools shut down, and our families called terrorists. It is not the right of the government or a big corporation to tell us what we can or cannot say. Our founding fathers finalized all debates on this over 200 years ago. I will viciously go after big tech and fight for your right to defend your freedom of speech.
President Trump had the southern border under control, with an 87% decrease in illegal crossings. In the past year over a million have come into this country illegally. We need manual entry-exit tracking systems for visa overstayers. We need to return to an American First immigration policy.
Life begins at conception. I can’t understand why democrats like to support laws that raise your taxes to support public funding of abortion. Roe v. Wade is an absolute disgrace and I will be the most pro-life candidate in congress and will never support any form of abortion at all.
The government’s monopolization of our public schools is a joke. The teacher’s unions have ruined our public education system. They fight for the teachers, but not the students. I will always support school choice. A parent is the only person who should get to decide where their children get to be educated. Critical Race Theory has no place in America and I support all options for school choice ranging from parochial, voucher, private, home school options.
2020 was one of the most discrepancy-heavy elections in US history. What has happened in Arizona and Georgia is an absolute nightmare and is unacceptable. We need to encourage the states to have higher election integrity standards. If our citizens don’t trust the voting system, they won’t trust the individuals who are elected or the laws they pass.
In the past year, the Democrats have completely ruined our booming economy. We went from lowest unemployment to record high unemployment by the failures of the Democrat policies. Job growth happens when you deregulate the economy and fight for lower taxes and less government spending and intervention.[1] |
