Biography
Hill has spent the bulk of his career in communications and broadcasting. He worked for 27 years with the Appalachian Education Communication Corporation in Bristol, Tennessee, where he was most recently general manager of five radio stations. Hill is also a consultant for technical writing and editing, public relations, proposal writing and editing, independent research and development documentation, corporate and business communication, media acquisition, media appraisal, and media utilization.[1]

Hill was first appointed to the position in 2009 by Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey. He became chairman of the commission on September 27, 2011 and served in that role until November 8, 2012.[2]
