Kenneth Hoyt (Maine)
Kenneth Hoyt (Republican Party) ran for election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 26. Hoyt did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 6, 2018.
Hoyt was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 26 of the Maine House of Representatives. Hoyt was named as a replacement candidate after Jacob Adams withdrew, but also withdrew before the general election.[1]

The signature filing deadline for party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 17, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the primary election was April 28, 2014, and the deadline for non-party candidates to run in the general election was June 2, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the general election was September 22, 2014. District 130 incumbent Linda Sanborn was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jacob Adams was unopposed in the Republican primary but withdrew after the primary; Kenneth Hoyt was selected as his replacement, but also withdrew before the general election. Sanborn was unopposed in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
