Kenneth J. King is a judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.

King ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

King was appointed to the court by former Governor Jennifer Granholm on June 21, 2006.[1] King served as chief judge of the court from January 2012 until his removal from the position on July 22, 2013.[2] On November 4, 2014, King was re-elected unopposed for another six-year term.[3] 

King is a former candidate for the 3rd Circuit Court.[4] He was defeated in the primary election on August 2, 2016.

Education

King received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University in 1992 and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1995.[5]
