Kenneth Jones (Mississippi)
Kenneth Wayne Jones (b. February 3, 1966) is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 21. He was first elected to the chamber in 2007.
Jones was a candidate for the Mississippi State Senate in 2003.
Biography
Jones attended Jackson State University. His professional experience includes working as a business owner.

Elections for the Mississippi State Senate took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015, and the general election was held on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[1] Barbara Blackmon defeated incumbent Kenneth Jones in the Democratic primary. No Republican candidates filed for election. Blackmon ran unchallenged in the District 21 general election.

Jones won re-election to the Mississippi Senate District 21. He defeated Franklin Mallett, Jr. in the primary on August 2, 2011. Loren Ross ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Jones defeated Ross in the general election on November 8, 2011.[2]
