Submitted Biography "Kenneth was born in 1965 and raised in Northeast Baltimore City. His working-class parents provided a loving and caring environment for Kenneth and his younger brother. His father, an electrician and Vietnam Era Veteran, and his mother, a state employee with the Department of the Environment, stressed the importance of family values and consistently following through on commitments. In 1987, a few years after graduating from Baltimore's Patterson High School, Kenneth was accepted into the Baltimore City Fire Department. Upon graduating from the Fire Academy he was assigned to one of Baltimore's busiest responding units, Engine 13 as a Fire Fighter/Emergency Medical Technician. During that time, Kenneth was featured in a documentary by the Discovery Channel called, "Streets of Fire" that highlighted the efforts of his company to meet the high demand for fire service in urban Baltimore City. Through the course of his 20 years of service, Kenneth took on ever increasing responsibilities. He received numerous awards for outstanding service and exemplary performance in responding to critical and often life threatening emergencies. Before his retirement from the department, Kenneth acquired a Maryland Home Improvement Commission contractor/salesman license and built his own home improvement business with his wife. They continue to successfully operate their small business today."

I am personally passionate about health care, immigration, education, transporation and the 2nd Amendment.
I feel that I am a hard worker. I listen to all sides and always try to make a non biased opinion. I like to make decisions quickly and precisely. I always like to think of what my choices will do to and for others. I am a kind but strong willed person.
I feel the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office would be to remember that you are working for the people and you must be able to listen to the people. The office is designed to help strengthen the specific district for which you are working. You are a liaison between the people and the government.
My first job was delivering news papers for the News American in Baltimore. Every day after school I would deliver the papers and on Saturday and Sunday I would wake up and have the papers out by 5:30 A.M. I started this job at the age of 12 and continued until I was 15.
I do not feel it is necessary to have experience in the government or politics to be a good representative. To me it is the job of the representative to collect all information needed to present new bills to congress which will better the district you are serving. It is also the job of the representative to collect all information on bills which are presented for voting and clarify the information so that your constituents understand the bill. With all this in mind it is ultimately the voice of the people you are conveying.
I do not feel that the term limit of two years is the correct amount of time for the term. I feel the term limit should be the same as the terms served by the President. If the terms were set to the same time limits I feel more would be accomplished as all parties would feel more obligated to get things done in a timely manner.
I feel that there should be term limits. When we have no term limits this sets the trend for lifetime politicians. Without term limits the government starts to become stagnant. The government loses the ability to operate for the people.
