Kenneth Neiman
Kenneth P. Neiman is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in the district's Springfield, Massachusetts office. He was appointed to this position on January 5, 1995. From 2006 to 2009, he was the chief magistrate. He retired from the court on January 5, 2015.[1]
Education
Judge Neiman received his B.A. degree from Tufts University in 1967 and his J.D. degree from Harvard University Law School in 1971.[1]
Professional career
Judge Neiman was a research fellow with the Legal Services Corporation Research Institute in 1978. He worked as an attorney for Western Massachusetts Legal Services and the Center on Social Welfare Policy and Law until 1981. He then worked as a partner of the firm Fierst and Neiman through 1994.[2]
