Biography
Born in Houston, Perkins earned an associate degree from Houston Community College and a B.S. in organization and leadership from Mountain State University. He has worked in law enforcement since 1982.[1]

The city of Houston, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 24, 2015.[2] In the race for District B, incumbent Jerry Davis defeated Vince Duncan, Isaac Mayhorn, Kenneth Perkins and Ben White Jr.[3][4]
