Kenneth R. Profitt is a district court judge for the 39th District Court, which presides over Breathitt, Powell, and Wolfe counties in Kentucky.[1] He was elected in 2000 and re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014.[2][3][4] His four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[5]

Education

Profitt received a B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky, going on to earn his J.D. there as well. He was admitted to the bar in 1986.[6]

Career

Prior to his judicial election in 2000, Profitt was a practicing attorney in the counties of Powell, Wolfe and Breathitt.[7]
