Kenneth Smith (North Carolina)
Kenneth Smith was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 22 of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
Biography
Smith grew up in Clinton, North Carolina and graduated from Clinton High School in 1993. He earned his B.S. from Campbell University in 2005 and his M.S. from Campbell University Divinity School in 2011.[1] His professional experience includes working as the operations manager for Kmart in Clinton, store manager for Sampson Ace Hardware and staff with Walgreens Pharmacy. Since 1997, he has served as an ordained Baptist minister.[1]

Elections for the North Carolina House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 28, 2014. Incumbent William Brisson was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Kenneth Smith was unopposed in the Republican primary. Brisson defeated Smith in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
