Born and raised on Detroit’s Eastside. Historically the youngest mayoral candidate in the 2017 Detroit mayoral election. Ken Snapp is a nationally known advocate from social justice reform.
Providing social goods to all through effective policy. With using the core tenets of intersectionality, we can create policy for the historically oppressed and marginalized groups, with an emphasis on Black and Brown Detroiters.
It is the legislative branch of our local government. This branch creates laws and policies that affect the livelihood of close to one million people.
