|It is my willingness to listen to all points of view that will enable me to become not only a good legislator, but one who acknowledges that Leadership comes from listening, and responding to the needs of the people that I serve, and a realization “In God We Trust.”
I have lived a good life, blessed with a wonderful wife, and family, and it’s time for me to give back.
I am a Healthcare Provider of 40 years, a small business owner, with a Masters of Arts Degree in Education, and a State of Illinois High School Teaching License. I intend to use my talents and draw from my experiences to create and pass good legislation keeping in mind that “United We Stand, Divided We Fail.”
I am the first Republican Candidate to run in Illinois House District 31 in the lifetime of many of its residents. I am no career politician, just a regular Joe offering voters a choice for change.
- Less Government. More Freedom.
- Public safety is job 1.
- Children are the future.
Madigan Enterprises and the Democrat Machine are the sad example of too much government. This has decimated the State of Illinois on so many levels. Honest legislators with good ideas did not have a chance when confronted with controlling, self-dealing, corrupt colleagues. Illinois has been a one-man (Madigan) controlled state for too long.
Government policy is not the solution to every problem.
I am passionate about less government. Government policy cannot solve all social and business problems. Government programs have a long history of making things worse - much worse.
For example, look at the negative impact of public housing and welfare programs. Government programs have divided families. Look at the so-called urban housing programs in the major cities and what they did to destroy the 2-parent black families. In the 1950’s ~90% of black families were 2-parent families, a man and a woman and their children. Enter the government housing and welfare programs and the pressure was on for “Mr.” Jones to leave the household, or, lose the housing allowance.
“The Degradation of God and Family is at the Root of All Social ills.”
Character.
Like to be known for Loving God, My Wife, Children, Grandchildren, Family, Friends, and Country in that Order.
I still do it today, around our home, and I don’t get paid.
We need Separation of Powers.

“ | What is your political philosophy?
I believe that I am called to run for United States Congress. It is one way in which I can serve my country. I believe that I possess leadership and deep convictions rooted in moral and ethical principles and ideals. I hope to enact legislation for the benefit of all, by advocating for the expansion of the middle class. Being a healthcare provider and educator, I will enact legislation that will improve our nation's healthcare and education of our youth. Is there anything you would like to add? 'People and Principles Over Money and Power' is my political campaign slogan.[3] |
