Biegler ran for election to the Guernsey County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile/Probate Division.
Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 49.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Andy Warhola. The primary race was close, with Warhola obtaining just nine votes more than Biegler. That lead was confirmed after a mandated recount.
