  • Reduce homelessness with proven collaborative, people-centered solutions
  • Make housing more affordable for working families
  • Ensure tax dollars are reinvested into our community’s streets, libraries, and parks
Addressing Homelessness

Homelessness in San Diego has become a crisis that can not continue. I want to create a San Diego that our children can be proud to call home. Collaborative solutions between a variety of regional partners is critical to resolving homelessness. The only long-term solution to supporting the unhoused is to ensure there is adequate housing available paired with resources and services to get people back on their feet. I look forward to bringing federal, state, and regional agencies to the table in partnership with nonprofit partners to ensure we combat homelessness with compassion.

Housing Attainability
We must tackle our region’s housing crisis by advocating for housing attainability at all income levels. We have an opportunity to spur both middle-income as well as affordable housing development through streamlining city processes, maximizing public resources, and finding ways to bridge financing gaps at scale.

Infrastructure & Transit

From ensuring investments in local libraries to repairing our streets to updating as well as building additional parks -- we can responsibly meet the needs of our growing communities. Let’s invest in smart, community-minded infrastructure and transit that will ensure San Diego is a leader in combating climate change while serving our children and grandchildren for future generations.
