Biography

Kenya Wicks was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She served in the U.S. Army from 1992 to 2022. She earned a high school diploma from Central High School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in 2010. Wicks has been affiliated with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Veterans of Foreign War, and the American Legion.[1]

She promotes the interests of foster care children as a Court-appointed special advocate (CASA), is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the Fayette Chapter of the NAACP, Fayette Democratic Women Organization, American Legion Post #202, Veterans Foreign Wars (VFW) CSM A. C. Cotton Post #12209, and The Olivet Church
