Kerry B Lewis was born in Griffin Spalding County Ga. Lewis attended the University of Phoenix while owning and managing a News Company. Lewis formerly Owned and Operated the Los Angles Homeless Society Inc. and the Rover Exotics Rescue LLC. He was a Youth Pastor in Savannah Ga from 2011 to 2013, the last two years as a business owner. He filed to run for Congress in November of 2022. Lewis has served his community in many ways. When Democrats took control of the House Lewis knew there is a need for new leadership in California. As a former homeless Lewis knows and relates to the Struggle and hunger for Change in our Society.
Illegal Immigration – When one looks to identify the presupposed cause and effect of the many volatile issues affecting the Golden State one needs to look no further than illegal immigration. From escalating income and sales taxes ranking the highest in the nation in order to subsidize overcrowded yet underperforming education and healthcare systems, to increasing crime and homeless rates that are rapidly placing it on par with violent crime-ridden urban cities like Chicago and Detroit, illegal immigration virtually feeds every detrimental issue facing Californians today in one way or another.

Economy – California currently boasts of being the world’s fifth-largest economy just ahead of the United Kingdom. The sheer size of California’s population (40 million to date) lends somewhat to this statistic but a closer look at the numbers reveals some very troubling trends that left unattended will bring an eventual implosion of the economy, first here than the nation and world.

Throughout the years, though, the House of Representatives has led the transformation and contains one of the government’s largest mix of religions, ethnicities, gender, and cultures. 1. It is big: 435 members. The House of Representatives is the largest body of elected federal officials and has the most diversity.
Nearly 200 representatives have experience in a state legislature; others were mayors, local district attorneys, or state agency heads. These experiences aren’t just symbolic. New legislators with political experience introduce and pass more bills, according to Ms. Francis’ research, WE THE PEOPLE should not be bound by experience.

- U.S. Term Limits What are the term limits for U.S. House Representatives? Currently, Representatives of the U.S. House have two-year terms and may be reelected indefinitely. U.S. Senators are elected to six-year terms and may be reelected indefinitely.

The length of the term is 2 years for all the members of the House of Representatives. The length of the term for Senators is 6 years, and the Senate has three members. To replace every one-third of the Senate’s members, there will be an election conducted every 2 years. The voting system includes plurality voting in 46 states.

Well, whether someone is a member of the house of representatives, the senate, or even one of the state legislatures, there are different ways that they can act on behalf of the people that they are representing. One way is to just be a delegate.

I believe compromise is necessary for the success of our country - as it always has been. Without compromise on what did or did not go into it, there would have been no Declaration of Independence. Without the compromise of adding the Bill of Rights, the Constitution.
Congress shall have power . . . to make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States.
The House used its investigatory privileges in the First Congress (1789–1791). Robert Morris of Pennsylvania, the superintendent of finances during the Continental Congress and a financier of the American Revolution, asked Congress in 1790 to investigate his handling of the country’s finances
