Policy Information
My Story
My name is Keshia Thomas, and I am a proud, lifelong resident of Fresno. I am also a 1991 Iota Phi Lambda Debutante. For the past 15 years, I have dedicated my career to education—a field that has shaped my life, values, and vision for the future of our community.
I owe my success to education. I was blessed with parents who never questioned whether I would attend college—it was always an expectation. Though I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, education became the foundation of a meaningful career and the stability that has allowed me to pass along those same values to my children and the many students I’ve taught and mentored.
