Kevin A. Parker is an associate judge of District 5A of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 2005.[1] His current term expires in 2018.
Education
Parker graduated from Gannon University in 1977 with a bachelor's degree. He then attended Drake University, where he received his law degree in 1979.[1]
Career
Parker began his career in 1980 as a law clerk to Judge James Denato. He then became a private practice lawyer. He also worked as an assistant Warren County attorney from 1981 to 1989 and as a Warren County attorney from 1989 to 2002. He joined a private law firm in 2003, where he practiced until his judicial appointment in 2005.[1]
2012 election
Parker was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 75.92% of the vote.[2][3]
