Biography

Kevin Atticks was born in Bowie, Maryland. Atticks earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Loyola University Maryland, a master's degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and a doctorate in communications design from the University of Baltimore. His career experience includes founding the nonprofit Grow & Fortify, where he worked as CEO. He also served as the executive director of the Maryland Wineries Association, Brewers Association of Maryland, and the Maryland Distillers Guild; as the president of the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council, and as the chair of the WineAmerica State & Regional Associations Advisory Council.​[1]
