Kevin Atticks
Kevin Atticks is the Maryland Secretary of Agriculture. He assumed office on January 18, 2023. His current term ends on January 20, 2027.
Biography
Kevin Atticks was born in Bowie, Maryland. Atticks earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Loyola University Maryland, a master's degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and a doctorate in communications design from the University of Baltimore. His career experience includes founding the nonprofit Grow & Fortify, where he worked as CEO. He also served as the executive director of the Maryland Wineries Association, Brewers Association of Maryland, and the Maryland Distillers Guild; as the president of the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council, and as the chair of the WineAmerica State & Regional Associations Advisory Council.[1]
