Kevin Blackburn was a 2014 candidate for District 2 of the Oakland, California City Council.
Biography
Blackburn was born in Oakland, California.[1] His professional experience includes working as the assistant vice president for legislative and regulatory affairs at the San Francisco Branch of The Federal Home Loan Bank and owning a small business.[2][1]

City council elections in Oakland took place on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline was August 8, 2014.[3] In District 2, Abel Guillen defeated Dana King, Kevin Blackburn, Ken Maxey and Andrew Park. Incumbent Patricia Kernighan did not seek re-election.[4][5]
