My name is Kevin Chiquete.I live in a the small town of Kearmy Az.By trade I am diesel electric technician and have been in the mining industry for 30 years.Of those 30 years 29 of them have been spent as a union member.
  • Sustainable jobs, industry and the environment working together for clean profitable workplaces for years to come.Ensuring that jobs in mining milling and agriculture are here for our future.
  • Education reform,we need provide more structure for our teachers in classroom.I don't believe we are turning the quality of students as we did before the pandemic. Our small rural communities struggle with educational funding and with providing activities for students.
  • Women's rights,specifically reproductive rights.I believe in a woman's right to choose.
I would say I most passionate about about providing a budget for our state that puts the money where it needs to be and benefits the majority of the people not just a select group.
My mentors and family members that were the generations of miners before me.I got to work my uncles and thier friends and those people taught me about more than just the job.
I would like to be remembered as someone who always was willing to make the tough choices and a person who always looked out for the people.
I was a security officer and held that job about a year.
Yes working together is the best way to gain knowledge and understanding.
