Expand all | Collapse all

I'm a gay, progressive Democrat running in Oregon's new 6th Congressional District to bring empathy-based policy making back. I stand for Expanding the ACA, Equality, Environment, Green New Deal, Economic growth with clean energy, Raising the minimum wage, Labor, Ending gun violence, Reproductive rights, Accessible education, Equal justice/Criminal justice reform, Election access/voting rights and Immigrant/Refugee rights.

I grew up in Oregon, have a B.A. in Political Science with emphasis in U.S. Government and Election from the University of Oregon. A former political consultant, I ran and worked on several campaigns up and down the entire West Coast including as Campaign Manager for Congressman Peter DeFazio and Field Director for Congresswoman Lois Capps. I took years long breaks to work inside government on policy as Policy Manager for Portland Mayor Tom Potter, Field Representative for Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and Community Relations Coordinator for San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera. I've also worked in the non-profit sector as Executive Director of Equity Foundation.

I live in Salem with my husband, Jeremy and four cats.
  • Return empathy in policy making
  • Expand the ACA to strive towards universal healthcare.
  • Economic growth by raising minimum wage and investing in clean energy and the Green New Deal
Human/civil rights, equal justice, growing the middle class and education access.
