Kevin P. Fitzgerald was the chief judge of the Eleventh Circuit Court in Illinois. He served in Bloomington. First elected in 2006, he was retained in 2012. He was appointed chief judge in October 2014, effective January 1, 2015.[1][2][3] Fitzgerald retired on July 6, 2018.[4]

Education

Fitzgerald earned a B.S. from Illinois State University in 1978, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of Illinois in 1981. He was admitted to the bar in 1981.[5]

2012 election

Fitzgerald was retained on Nov. 6, 2012, with 87.2% of the vote.[2][7]
