Kevin K. Ryan (New York)
Kevin K. Ryan is a former acting justice of the Clinton County Supreme Court in the 4th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 2005. He was also a judge on the Clinton County Surrogate's Court, which he joined in 1997.[1] Ryan retired from the bench at the end of 2016.[2]
Education
Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College in 1971 and his J.D. from the Albany School of Law in 1974.[1]
Career
Ryan worked as a private practice attorney from 1975 through 1996, concentrating in criminal, matrimonial, and real estate law. He also served as an acting judge of the Plattsburgh City Court from 1988 to 1990 and a judge of the Plattsburgh City Court from 1990 through 1996. In 1997, he joined the Clinton County Surrogate's Court. He was appointed an acting supreme court justice in 2005 and was re-elected to the surrogate's court in 2006.[3]
