Kevin M. Duffan
Kevin M. Duffan is a judge of the Virginia Court of Appeals. He assumed office on January 1, 2026. His current term ends on January 1, 2034.
He was appointed to the court in March 2025 by the Virginia General Assembly.
Education
Duffan earned his bachelor's degree at James Madison University and his law degree at College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law.[1]
Career
Duffan previously served as a judge for the Virginia 2nd Judicial District. Prior to his elevation to the circuit courts, Duffan was a judge in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts. Prior to serving as a judge, he worked as a prosecutor for five years. He has also worked as a personal injury attorney.[1]
