Kevin McAlpin was a 2014 candidate for the Twenty-Seventh Circuit Court in Tennessee.[1][2]

McAlpin ran for election to the Twenty-Seventh Circuit Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 25.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Steve Conley and Jeff Parham.

Education
McAlpin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and his J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law.[3]
Career
At the time of his candidacy, McAlpin served as the assistant district attorney general for the 27th Judicial District. He has also previously served as an assistant public defender and worked as an attorney in private practice.[3]
