Kevin McMillan
Kevin McMillan was a 2013 Democratic candidate for District 11 of the New Jersey General Assembly.[1]
Biography
McMillan earned his B.S. in management from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1982, his M.A. in economics from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985, his M.B.A. in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1994, and his Executive Ed. in business from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.[2] His professional experience includes working as a Pharmaceutical sales representative. He also serves as a Neptune Councilman.[3]

McMillan's campaign stated that, "New Jersey is becoming too expensive to live in for middle class families. We need to stop giving tax breaks to millionaires and start using the income tax to reduce property taxes and fund our schools."[4]

2013
McMillan ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 11. McMillan was bracketed with Edward Zipprich. He was unopposed in the June 4 Democratic primary. He was defeated by incumbent Mary Pat Angelini (R) and incumbent Caroline Casagrande (R) in the general election, which took place on November 5, 2013.[5][6][7][8]
