Kevin McMurry
Kevin McMurry is a current senior assistant district attorney who ran for Superior Court judge in the Coweta Judicial Circuit. McMurry sought to replace Allen B. Keeble, who retired in December 2012.
Education
McMurry received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1997 and his J.D. from Georgia State University in 2000.[1]

- 2006-present: Assistant District Attorney
- 2001-2005: Attorney specializing in civil rights violations[1]
McMurry is admitted to practice law in the following courts: Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia and all Georgia state courts. 2012 election
McMurry competed against Atlanta defense attorney Emory Palmer in the July 31 election.[2] McMurry was narrowly defeated after receiving 49.1% of the vote; Palmer received 50.1%.
