As a lifelong educator, both as a teacher and a principal, I know firsthand what needs to be accomplished for our students to thrive. It is important that our district representative on the School Board have the necessary knowledge and experience to improve our children’s education. I want to use my passion for education to serve you, your children, and the community. Elect a leader that will place education first and be the much-needed voice for students, families, and educators.
  • I am the only educator in the race. It is vital that our elected representative understand education, the system and its gaps. I understand how to tackle learning loss, how to boost teacher morale, how to manage a school budget, etc. I also obtained both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Education from Barry University and Florida International University respectively. Education is my passion and I want to bring that passion to the school board.
  • My first priority is to keep our children safe. I will activate strategies, programs, and resources to ensure physical, mental and emotional safety.
  • I will enable parental rights/involvement, address teacher burnout, provide the support needed to retain our teachers.
