His dad's job as a reporter meant Kevin's family moved often, making him the new kid at school for much of his childhood. The experience of repeatedly starting over with no friends or connections instilled in Kevin an appreciation for inclusion, and made him determined to ensure those around him feel welcomed and valued. Because of his innate optimism, sense of humor and leadership qualities, the family looked to Kevin to keep their spirits high amidst their frequently changing world.
Kevin attended Trinity College, where he was elected student body president and played football. His passion for the competition of ideas then led him to Boston College Law School and a career as an attorney.
