Arizona native and US navy veteran. Married with 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Electrical Engineer with 6years aerospace experience and 24 years information technology experience. Currently my wife and I own and operate a bbq food truck as a family business.
  • I'm a constitutional conservative they will uphold both the Arizona and the US constitution
  • I'm an advocate of public safety to include correctional, police police and firefighters
  • I believe in backpack funding for for our students where the money follows the child to whatever school ever school they attend. This includes public district, public charter, private and home schools.
Public safety, water, transportation and education are my top priorities. As the current public safety chairman we tackled pay for DPS and retirement accounts for police and correctional personnel.
The art of negotiation but never giving up your personal principles.
Follow constitution and the law. Don't promise things you can't deliver and always stay true to your word.
At 12 years old I was a paperboy for the Arizona Republic. I did this for several years leaving after one of my customers offered me a higher paying job. Being a paperboy was a great experience. You sign up your customers, order and pay for papers, deliver papers and collect payment for the papers. It teaches responsibility because you're basically running your own business.
Lord of the Rings. Great story.
They need to be able to talk. Can't be one with governor doing all the talking. Must go both ways with governor talking AND listening.
Loved being chairman of the Public Safety committee. Serve on transportation committee and learned a great deal about how it is funded and where we need the most work.
Yes as long as you don't compromise your principles.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Arizona

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of Arizona scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
