I am not a politician. I am an ER Nurse and former EMT with over 20 years of emergency experience that fought Covid on the frontlines. I have been married to my incredible wife for 8 years, a father to 3 amazing children, and a small business owner. I specialize in training local, global, and fortune 500 organizations how to hold crucial conversations, and hold other's accountable; all skills that are imperative to bring to Albany. I am running for NYS Assembly District 6 to bring back common sense policies that benefit the community. I have a long history and career of service to my community. I will continue that service as your Assemblyman. I will always listen to you. I will always fight for you. I am a trusted, compassionate, nurse and family man that will represent you in Albany.
  • Affordable living and healthcare - Gas prices are greater that $4 per gallon, NY taxes are forcing people out of the state, babies are going without formula, and basic health insurance and medication can bancrupt you. I will work tirelessly to make things better for New York.
  • Safe Communities - cashless bail reform needs to be repealed. Everyone needs to be held accountable for their actions. Gang violence, shootings, theft, and drug overdoses continue to rise unchecked. I will vote to end cashless bail, support our law enforcement, hold everyone accountable, and fight to eliminate the opioid crisis on Long Island.
  • Term Limits - Every elected office must have term limits. I will write and/or co sponsor legislation that sets term limits in Albany. Holding an elected office is a service to your community, state and country. It is NOT a career.

Honestly, trustworthy, compassionate, caring, transparent, and an endless desire to do the right thing.

They must be humble. This job is not about them. It's only about the people they represent.
I am not a politician. I see my assembly seat as a service to my state, community, and my country. My job is to be a representative. This is not a career.

As an ER Nurse, I have never run away from an emergency. I remain calm in stressful situations. I know what it is like to answer a 911 call and be placed in life and death situations. These experiences have prepared me to think logically, empathetically, and quickly. I hold a deep compassion for helping others. This is evidenced by my long career in service to my communities.

I also have vast experience in holding crucial conversations; especially when people disagree with each other. I know how to hold myself and others accountable for actions. All of these skills as essential to being a successful officeholder.
The job of an elected official is to be a representative. Many people in office have completely lost sight of that role. You are there to represent the voice of the people you serve. It is a service. Not a job. Not a career. An elected official is in office to serve the people and be their voice.

The responsibility of an elected official is to protect the people they represent. Keep them safe. Provide them with the resources and assistance they need to live a free, happy, and prosperous life.

I will always listen to you. I will always fight for you. I will make sure your voice in heard in Albany.
I want my children to grow up with a government they can trust. I want them to know that I stood up and fought for what was right.

The only way for evil to thrive is for good people to stand by and do nothing.
The most impactful historical event I remember was 9/11. I was a freshman in high school sitting in earth science class when I first heard the news.
My very first job as a young teenager was a baseball coach at the NY Mets baseball academy.

My first adult job was working as an EMT in the NYC 911 system under Northwell Health.
The governor and the state legislature must always maintain a clear, transparent, relationship of checks and balances. The checks and balances between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches is clearly outlined in the constitution and must always be upheld.
I believe the opposite. I believe our legislature should be made up of a broad representation of the people of NY. We have too many lawyers and career politicians. We need more elected officials with varied backgrounds to truly represent the constituents.
Absolutely. We need elected officials to work together. If we are not working towards the same goal of improving the lives of New Yorkers, we will continue to divide this great state and see its continued downfall.

We can have different opinions. We need to allow debate over the issues to better understand each other. Currently Albany and its one-party system is not willing to work with the other side. And we are seeing the negative effects.
Enough with the gerrymandering. It's not about power and control; it's about representation. We need to draw districts in a way that represents the people of that particular area. Regardless of how that may swing the power in Albany.

As we are seeing now, it is inherently dangerous for one political party to be in control. That goes for all parties. There should always be a balance of power so that all New Yorkers have their representation.
Instead of an immediate compromise, which has both advantages and disadvantages, we need to focus on something we can both agree on; a mutual purpose. For example, we both want to lower the cost of healthcare. It's something policy makers can agree on. They may have different strategies on how to achieve that, but if we continue to work together and towards the same goal, different compromises could be achieved for the greater good of those we represent.
