I'm a single Father, an public school educator, an environmental scientist, biologist, and real estate investor. I am a moderate Democrat, who is concerned about the direction of our State and Country being governed by extremists on both sides.
  • We need to protect the rights of all people from government over-reach. Regardless of what you believe, it is the not the governments job to force us into a nanny-state where our personal lives and choices are dictated by the government.
  • We must use tax dollars to provide services to the community. We must fund and provide infrastructure, high quality education, affordable education, improve health care quality and access, and better emergency services that are there to serve all members of the community. We are already taxed way too heavily. We need to reduce taxes and ensure the tax dollars collected are used to improve the lives of everyone in the community, as apposed to pet projects and pork.
  • I am a big believer in term limits for all branches and levels of government. I believe serving in public office should be a public service and community service and not a career path. I'm not a professional politician, nor should anyone be. I am a well educated member of the community with a desire to make my state a better place for my daughter, friends, family, neighbors, and community.
I want to create term limits for elected and appointed officials. I want to cut taxes and use the tax dollars collected in ways that directly improve our communities and quality of life. We desperately need to improve education and Healthcare, affordable access to education amd Healthcare, and public safety, including more emergency services that are better trained to serve all communities. I also strongly believe that we should not live in a nanny-state, regardless of your personal beliefs it is not the governments position to tell anyone how they can or cannot make personal choices that impact their own lives. I believe it is the governments jod to collect and allocate tax dollars to improve our communities and not to dictate our personal life choices regardless of personal beliefs or political party. We should also not be collecting more tax dollars than can be effectively allocated to community improvements. I personally don't ever want to hear a politician brag about a tax surplus, and a week later have to vote on a levy because the public schools and emergency services are under funded.
