A Key West City Mayoral Duties question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Monroe County, which is in Florida, where it was approved.
This question amends the Key West City Charter to add additional mayoral duties as the position of strategic leader of the city such as public education, regional leadership coordination, presentation of annual state of the City addresses and review of goals.[1]
