  • American strength can be recovered by repairing our economy.American energy independence- provides jobs, low energy costs, and national defense. It gives us leverage to influence international relations in Russia and the Middle East. The budget deficit is astronomical and unsustainable. I pledge to support smaller packaging of bills so that we can better evaluate where your money is being spent.
  • I have 4 wonderful children, so I know that education is a key cornerstone to raising happy, healthy kids. Schools must once again be accountable to parents- both for the physical safety of our students and for the quality of the education provided. Reduction in federal regulation, including over curriculum decisions. Those should be local. School choice is very important and I pledge to support any opportunity to facilitate school choice in our District. Education is the great equalizer in America and must be reformed in order to provide the best opportunities to all students, regardless of socioeconomic status. Putting the reigns back in the hands of parents is the first step toward achieving that reform.
  • We must secure the border to stop the atrocities being committed by the cartel against women and children. We must secure the border and utilize tools like the “remain in Mexico policy” to protect our communities- especially our immigrant communities who are so frequently the victims of the violence due to the open border policy
