Kildeer Village Sales Tax Increase (March 2012)
A Kildeer Village Sales Tax Increase measure was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the village of Kildeer which is in Lake County.
This measure was approved
- YES 403 (57%)
- NO 304 (43%)[1]
This measure sought to increase the current sales tax to a rate of 1.5 percent with the additional income going towards road improvement projects in the village as well as municipal operation costs. An estimated $500,000 a year would be generated from this tax increase if it is approved.[2]
