Kim Bowman
Kim Bowman was a Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor of Utah in 2016. Bowman was defeated by Spencer Cox in the general election.[1]
Biography
Kim Bowman graduated East High School in Salt Lake City. Bowman earned his bachelor's degrees in gender studies and political science from the University of Utah, his M.A. in gerontology from the University of Southern California, his MBA from Westminster College, and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific. He is a U.S. Air Force Reserve major and a member of the Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corp (JAG).[2]
Bowman's career experience includes working as a budget analyst, private practice attorney, manager at the Division of Health System Innovation and Research at the University of Utah School of Medicine, FUSE Executive Advisor to Los Angeles County’s Chief Deputy of Juvenile Services, and special counsel for a Los Angeles County nonprofit legal organization.[3] Bowman was elected to the city council of La Cañada Flintridge, California in June 2022.[4][5]
