I decided to run for the 26th District State Senate seat when I recognized that, without responsible leadership, our state will continue down a very troubling path. My husband and I moved to Connecticut in 1994, and to Wilton in 2008 where we continue to raise four wonderful children. We have grown to love our community, where I serve as the Treasurer of the Wilton Library Board. As fond as we are of our home, we worry about where the Nutmeg State is heading. Connecticut’s economy has contracted, and many people and businesses struggle to stay above water. With COVID-19, we face even more challenges. Instead of making difficult decisions, the legislature continues to spend beyond our means while it rewards favored constituencies. As a CPA and former auditor, I know that much more can be done to restore fiscal prudence to our statehouse. My vision of Connecticut’s future is a bright one. It is one in which our children, after receiving top notch educations, find well-paying jobs in a state that is as prosperous as it was just a few decades ago.
  • I do not support forced school regionalization.
  • I will work with other legislature's to rein in irresponsible spending, unfunded liabilities and imprudent borrowing.
  • Rollback burdensome regulation and licensure requirements.
