Kim Kreider was born and raised in Sand Springs/Jordan area, on land her grandparents homesteaded in 1917. The daughter of a rancher, she learned the importance of hard work and tough choices. In 1995, she earned a degree in hotel management, landing her dream job in Tradeshow Logistics. She traveled throughout the USA and overseas before returning to the family ranch in 2020, reconnecting to her roots and helping her family. She is deeply involved in the community, running the Sand Springs Store and Post Office while hosting social events. She recently left the Post Office to pursue Legislative House District 35.
  • There is division in Montana but there are more goals that are common and aspirations for our state. These shared standards and values inspired me to run for Legislative House District 35. I firmly believe we need to unite and bring our Montana Back. I am running for all the people of Legislative House District 35 not just one party.
  • Working together to reduce property taxes to the recommended level by the Department of Revenue to 0.95 instead of 1.35. We should also continue the Medicaid expansion to support our vulnerable population, including children, veterans, elderly individuals, and those with special needs, so that they can focus on their daily tasks and receive the assistance they need.
  • I will ensure that our children receive a quality education and that we increase the salaries of our teachers. I will also focus on our public lands and advocate for all ranchers and farmers. I am committed to working across party lines to ensure that our children are provided for, just as I was in the wonderful state I grew up in and have come home to.
Montana's constitution ensures that our privacy is protected, safeguarding our medical records and our freedom to make choices about our own bodies.
My family has given me amazing attributes:

Granny K instilled in me a passion for travel and adventure.

Grandma Vera taught me to be prepared for anything.

Grandpa advised me to always check my mirrors.

Pop taught me to be patient.

Ma pushed me to do better and caught me if I fell.

My sister encouraged me to keep learning and moving forward.

My brother showed me how to raise kind, caring, and beautiful kids.

Every person I have encountered across the world has helped me grow into the person I have become. We all have flaws. The hardest lesson to learn is to say, "I am wrong" or "I am sorry," and the best lesson to learn is to grow from that piece of humble pie.
I am a proud American and firmly believe in upholding the principles outlined in the Constitution of the United States. It is our collective duty to prioritize these principles and rights above all else. As a resident of Montana, I value the additional rights provided by our state constitution, including the right to privacy, public access, and a clean and healthful environment.

I strongly advocate for the election of working-class individuals to public offices and the elimination of dark money from politics. Our decisions today should be made by those who understand the realities of today and are committed to shaping a better future for us all.
Being able to multi-task, show empathy and work across the aisle.
I grew up on the ranch and pitched in with everything. When I moved to high school and lived in the dorm, I started helping my mom at the bar between school activities. Then, in college, I worked the front desk at Binion's Horseshoe and Casino. Just your usual rural Montana upbringing school, sports, 4-H, brandings and rodeos.
Being dedicated to your constituents by hosting regular town halls, quarterly meetings, and providing timely updates in local newspapers to keep the community well-informed and engaged.
Yes finacial transparenty and government accountability is key to our future.
