- I am running to bring honest, trustworthy and accountable representation to the people of my district and my state. For too long we've suffered under one-party rule, and all of the self-serving corruption that enables.
- Our state school funding system was declared unconstitutional nearly a quarter century ago, and our state governenment STILL has not fixed it, thus leaving local property owners more and more on the hook for unfairly absorbing the costs. This broken, inquitable system needs to be fixed once and for all, so that all of our children can receive a quality education. One's zip code should not determine the quality of our children's education.
- I believe strongly in putting the needs and interests of People First in our governance, which is why I refuse to accept any corporate PAC money, and don't rely on big money backers or even party support for my campaign, but upon the support of hundreds of individuals.
