Kim Strelchun is a former Position 4 representative on the Hillsboro School Board in Oregon. First elected to the seat in 2011, she ran for re-election and won a second term in the general election on May 19, 2015. Strelchun did not seek re-election in 2019.[1]

Strelchun graduated from Beaverton High School and earned a B.S. in social sciences with an emphasis in political science from Portland State University. She works as an arts integration coach. She and her husband, Timothy, have two children.[2]

Opposition

Three of the seven seats on the Hillsboro School District Board of Directors were up for general election on May 19, 2015.

Position 4 incumbent Kim Strelchun, Position 5 incumbent Adriana Cañas and Position 7 incumbent Wayne Clift were up for election. Cañas did not file for re-election; Lisa Allen, Christopher Barry and Bart Rask ran for the open Position 5 seat. Allen was successful in that race. Strelchun defeated challengers Christian Honl and Tim Reeves, and Clift defeated Jaime Rodriguez.
