Kim Tyler
Kim Tyler was a candidate for the Place 3 seat on the Burleson Board of Trustees in Texas. She lost election against fellow challengers Ryan Richardson and Paul Keese in the general election on May 10, 2014. Tyler ran to replace Scott Atwood, who did not file for re-election in 2014.[1]
Biography
Tyler earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Louisiana State University. She also holds a master's degree in special education and a Ph.D. in education policy, planning and leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. Tyler has been a teacher for more than two decades including stints at East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana and York County Schools in Virginia. At the time of her candidacy, Tyler was teaching at Texas Wesleyan University.[2]
