Kimberley Slayton White is a judge of the Virginia Court of Appeals. She assumed office on July 1, 2022. Her current term ends on June 30, 2030.
White also served as a circuit court judge for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Virginia.[1] She was appointed to the court by Governor Bob McDonnell in August 2012. White left the court after the Virginia General Assembly appointed her to the Virginia Court of Appeals on June 17, 2022, to replace Wesley G. Russell Jr.[2][3]
Biography
Kimberley Slayton White received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington and her J.D. from Mercer University.[4] Before her appointment to the judiciary, White served as an attorney for the Commonwealth of Virginia for eight years. She also worked as an assistant and deputy commonwealth’s attorney for the city of Lynchburg, and as a litigation partner with Woods Rogers in Danville.[2][5]
