• A Parent’s Perspective with Professional Expertise As a parent of two children in our public schools, I understand firsthand how policy decisions impact families. My professional background allows me to pair that personal perspective with informed, thoughtful leadership.
• Forward-Thinking, Collaborative Governance I believe in transparency, collaboration, and planning for the future. By working with educators, families, community partners, and county leaders, I am committed to addressing today’s challenges while preparing our schools and workforce for what’s ahead.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am most passionate about public policies that strengthen education, workforce development, and community sustainability. This includes policies that support high-quality instruction, educator recruitment and retention, responsible use of technology, and student safety. I also care deeply about aligning education with economic development so students graduate prepared for careers and local industries can thrive. Transparency, data-informed decision-making, and long-term planning are essential policy principles I believe lead to stronger schools and stronger communities.
