Bacon earned her B.S. in marketing from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her J.D. from the Southern University Law Center.

Career

At the time of her election to the court, Bacon was an attorney. In addition to her private practice, she served as a judge pro tem, mediator and public defender in the Marion County Courts.
