Kimberly Hill Knott (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Michigan House of Representatives to represent District 7. She did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on August 2, 2022.

Hill Knott was a 2018 write-in candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 13th Congressional District of Michigan.[1]

Knott was a Democratic candidate for Michigan's 13th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Knott's signatures were disqualified before the primary scheduled for August 7, 2018.[2]

Biography

Knott received an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and a graduate degree from Temple University. Her professional career includes work as a consultant for community and government relations, environmental justice, workforce development and climate change.[3]

Knott stated the following about her political philosophy in a biographical submission to Ballotpedia:[3]

I am strategic, innovative, compassionate and collaborative leader who will work to move the 13th Congressional District forward! My campaign slogan is Bringing Government to the People. As a Member of Congress, I will work to strengthen the connection between the federal government and the constituents and bring federal resources to the community.[4]
